Let’s be real. Carnivores aren’t going to stop eating meat overnight, let alone go vegan. Those pamphlets you find littered in the bathrooms at school, and that bubbly person in the vest and clipboard who you’re trying not to make eye contact with, are not going to encourage you to drastically alter your lifestyle. Personally, those photos of cramped livestock and hormone-engorged cattle teats make people feel uncomfortable; they don’t trigger healthy and environmentally-conscious diets. And if they do, I’m sure it’s just a phase…
Change is gradual, and if you want to change someone’s eating habits you have to do it through education, not guilt. This way it really sticks, rather than being trendy and ephemeral. This website’s objective is to convince you to eat less red meat.
Plain and simple.
I’ve thrown in some petition-related posts, so ya’ll can get your online activism on without being harassed by that street-side, bubbly person in the vest. And with great honor and respect to Kip Andersen and Keegan Kuhn, I present the enlightening, new feature-length documentary:
Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret so that you know what it really means when you order that hamburger. It’s not just about caged animals, it’s about
